to capecoddah Re: [All] New England Patriots 2010 Pats by three? Yeah, I can see that, Miami seems to bring out the worse in the Pats, but we be rolling high. I hope coach Bill has been keeping the teams head out of the clouds, we can't afford to get cocky now.
By Brian MacPherson The Providence Journal FOXBORO -- There's a big sign with big letters next to the door New England Patriots players use to exit Gillette Stadium every day. It's not at all subtle: "IGNORE THE NOISE. MANAGE EXPECTATIONS." It says more but can't find a quick link.

*facepalm*
Next week. Sun., Jan. 16, 4:30 PM ET CBS. Jets IF they win, winner of the Balt / KC game otherwise.
On a lighter note, Danny Woodhead selling his jersey @ Modell's:

Man to Woodhead "He's kinda short" lulz Another week of Rex Ryan. I wonder what gems will come out of his mouth.

to capecoddah Man. Talk about an "Oops" on the Colts part. Now we get to play the Jets, again. Hopefully we pound them like we did the last time we played them.
Obi Wan Kenobi Obi Wan Belichick

I'll take a 1 point win but I hope for 100 - 3. whatifsports.com: New York Jets 31.0% 17 @ New England Patriots 69.0% 22 Pats by 8.5 @ 110 Could one of the resident Photoshoppers turn on Belichick's light saber?

Pitchers & catchers report in a month, folks.
Showed some flashes but no consistency. They never found "The Groove".
Just a poor showing...
A WTF game.

to capecoddah I am almost afraid to ask since I stopped watching NHL since the strike... so how are the Bruins doing?

Does it really matter? They can be #1 and still choke in the play-offs when ahead like they did last time.

I guess not, was hoping to find something to cheer for until football season starts.

The Bruins choked in the playoffs with a 3-0 start they proceeded to lose the next 4 games to get eliminated. They were even up 3-0 score in game 7 and lose that.
As far as next football season goes that's a lockout year. *cry*
Bruins are doing Pretty well. Better than OK. Second place after Philadelphia. Last year's choke was WTF. I watch a game every now and again. 7-0 win over Carolina the other night was good. Some Guy got a hat trick; I threw a hat at the TV. Celtics are doing Quite well with a .775 record. I just don't get (into) basketball... A minute on the evening news is enough for me.

I can't seem to get into basketball either. Strangely enough I have watched a few NCAA Women's games, they seem to be more exciting and better to watch.
