This has long been the goal for FIOS and cable companies. TV, internet, phone, home security and a host of other SUBSCRIPTION services, is the payoff for the buildout investments they made. Some (more techinical) users will want to DiY it, but for many the "one call, one company" does it all, will be the choice.

As long as you get a bigger discount with the more services you bundle, I'm all for it.
