| R.U.S.E. is so... -The movie cutscenes in the game arent skippable. Which is extremely annoying.
-The only thing you seem to do is left click. You left click to select units like you might expect. To give orders you the left click again. Which deselects the units you just selected. Which is very stupid. You select the units.. give orders through right click and dont get deselected for no reason.
-The give you camera controls but the moment you move they get reset. Which completely invalidates giving camera controls anyway.
-Double leftclick usually means 'select all of the same units in view' so if there are 5 marines 1 tank. double clicking a marine selects all the marines. Except in ruse that is only sometimes true. Sometimes it selects the marines, sometimes it selects nothing, sometimes it selects all units.
-Units decide to move around on their own sometimes.
-The game is overall laggy and slow. I have an amd 1090t, 16 gigs of ram, 2x hd 5770. It shouldnt even have loading screens for me. Yet it's choppy as shit.
Ruse is a terrible game. Ubisoft didnt add in their DRM to it, because they knew the game was going to be an utter failure. More then likely they will claim lack of drm and piracy is what killed the game.
The concept of RUSE had potential but a large number of the basics for the game are so flawed that it's utterly unplayable. Check out the demo to become painfully aware how bad it is.

This game has no innovation, nothing. Its boring, shady, and what else can i say? There are tons of games that do the job of this game 1000 folds over. |
