BIGGEST - Bully Broadband Dictatorship!

When you are the biggest you can bully your customers. Several years ago Verizon was involved in a class action suit because they crippled the ??-701 handset. Features that were available to customers of other wireless carriers that used the same handset were not available to Verizon customers. One of the reasons that customers sued was that Verizon blocked transferring photographs directly from the handset to a computer via a USB Cable. Customers were forced to transfer photographs through the Verizon Network for a fee.

The Feds should pass a law requiring all wireless providers to disclose all features that have been disabled and what restrictions have been applied to handsets. Why should a customer get an unpleasant surprise after they make the purchase. Try to return the product and find out that the carrier will not return the activation and other fees. Customers wind up paying the carrier to learn that they have been screwed. Time for another class action suit!
