| system won't start So I get home from a business trip and find that my system won't start up. My wife powered everything down before she left the house for a week and we can't get it to turn back on.
Hitting the power button makes the PSU start up, as well as the case fans and CPU fan, but I can't get a signal to the monitor.
I've retried connections, plugged the monitor into the 4870's other port, and verified the monitor does turn on and can receive a signal.
How do you go about trouble-shooting this? I have no extra parts, but have been wanting to upgrade the video card anyways. Would that likely solve the problem, or could it be the PSU or mobo? -- All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them. Give a cap trooper a bunk and time to sack out in it, and he's as happy as a worm in an appleasleep. |
