It's based on stars (or Power Circles).
They came in the bottom with T-Mobile in the Northeast.
They did beat Sprint and VZW in the North Central region though.

Those charts also explain my support of T-Mobile. Having lived in the Southwest and North Central regions, my TMO service has been top-notch. Hard for me to relate to folks in the Northeast who complain about TMO service.

That is because we virtually do not have T-Mobile outside cities and highways, it automatically jumps on to Cell One/Cingular/Att towers. T-Mobile doesn't even advertise as a real phone service out here, just something for kids or people who may need a phone very rarely. Where Sprint for example and VZ blanket this region and advertise the hell out of it.
