UTM needed with T1

I am finding that having a UTM network appliance with a T1 router is not easily done. I will switch T1 provider for UTM capability if needed. What friggin T1 router will act as UTM or work with a UTM network appliance? TIA!

I have Covad T1 with Netopia router.

I assume by UTM you mean unified thread management device.

Would help to know what problem you are having. Physical connection to the Internet should be irrelevant to LAN side device.

You are correct on the UTM definition. I cannot bridge the T1 router. I have searched all over for a T1 router with UTM, or a UTM appliance to work with a router without success. I am puzzled.

Not sure but arent most T1s connected to a router via some type of modem device. In other words a T1 Router or Modem is mostly used to convert the signal to one a NORMAL router can use LOL. Then there would be a plethora of appliances you can choose from!
