1 edit | I have Iphone 4 and let me tell about experience So far I am pleased with it. I ordered free case though because its better to protect expensive investment anyway.
The only glitch I noticed when I turn off 3G, I may in some areas hear buzz or static noise in internal speakerphone. In areas where I had full 5 bars I did not hear any of that.
I took to Apple Genius Squad and they diagnosed it and found no hardware problems. They told me sometimes resetting iOS may fix problem.
Overall its great device and I notice it gets better reception than my old Curve 8310 (anytime I switch manually to 2G but usually don't really need to) |

 | reply to chgo_man99 That's GSM, when you're off the 3G (HSPA) network. |

Try product before you criticize. The majority of sales do go due to valid reasons |

1 edit | reply to SterlingJ85 Yeah, but as I mentioned I never experienced that interference buzz with another phone. Except dropped conversations where I had weak signal.
I wonder if anyone ever had with other phone. |

 | It may just mean that the speaker on the iPhone 4 is not as well shielded. That's a common problem with car and computers speakers and GSM phones. If they are shielded well, you won't hear it. -- -Sterling |

The tech support people went as far as to tell us we had to pull the battery every day or two to reset the phone for it to work properly. Uhhh..no!
Haven't had the same problems with our iPhones. -- My rants get raves. |

Good point....lol, here is something to think about too. You couldn't pull the battery with iPhones even if you wanted to. =) |

So someone tell me how do you do a hard reset on an iPhone? And don't say they never need a hard reset. -- Best of luck

 | reply to jtudor Press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together for about 10 seconds. I had to do this a few times with my new iPhone 4, but not since updating it to iOS 4.1. |
