Re: wimax is just as fast and has better coverage My peak speeds were my average speed (10Mbps range) when I had the service, it was consistent. This is pretty much the norm from what I've seen reported in most of the forums (maybe 5-8Mbps range for the EVO itself) I've seen this talked about on, I wager those who see consistently less usually have poor testing methology in place (or a poor connection/some other technical problem/etc), as I've usually noted is the case.
