When the DSL was first activated, the DSL line shared a phone jack with a fax machine through use of a plug-in double-outlet. Connections were intermittent, so I replaced this Verizon supplied solution with an actual 2-outlet jack. With the slitter in, the modem's jack could be wired to the cable's unused pair, which would be wired to the splitter. Sound like a good plan? |
