Sorry to ask this but I am new to ipods

I haven't owned an iPod since the first generation mini metal. It has been too long for me to give good detailed information, but iTunes will set up for multiple players, and can be autosynched, though I don't do that because the players can't take all the music that I have.

There are other programs that will work with iPods, but I have forgotten their names. As is the case with many PMP fans, I got turned off of iPods and Zunes because of their dependance on software, something MSC capable players are agnostic to. I prefer dragging and dropping my music.
