Don Hay told them he was the fastest learner on the team....recommended they draft him. Idiots! That's what happens when your scouting system is made up mostly of x-European players.

FaxCap i don't see Lucic fitting in with the Canucks...the Bruins are a perfect fit for a Lucic type player. -- Google this: (sqrt(cos(x))*cos(200*x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(9-x^2), -sqrt(9-x^2) |

Edit: got this in an email.
Great news Leafs fans! The Detroit Red Wings will host the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
Taking place in Ann Arbor at Michigan Stadium, also known as The Big House, the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic will be the largest NHL Winter Classic game in history. |

| No broken bones for Hank ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Vancouver Canucks say Henrik Sedin has no broken bones in his right foot.
Head coach Alain Vigneault said before Thursday night's game at Minnesota that a CT scan came back clean. Sedin took part in the morning skate, and Vigneault said he'd be a game-time decision to play the Wild.
Sedin was hit in the foot in the last game at Nashville by a slapshot from Predators defenceman Kevin Klein.
Not only is Sedin the team captain and fifth in the NHL with 57 points, but he has the second-longest current streak in the league of consecutive games played with 552. Calgary Flames defenceman Jay Bouwmeester was at 559 entering Thursday -- ~~Get our troops home...now!!~~ |

This Bitz kid knows how to pass the puck....good skater for a LARGE man...surprisingly good hands. I wonder how long it will be before he plays some powerplay shifts parked in front of the net?

| Selanne sidesteps Red Wings trade rumors
“I’m not surprised about Val, because I know how good a player he is and can be,” Selanne said. “I think it’s great. I’ve been waiting a long time to see him play like this.”
So, would Selanne like to have Filppula as a linemate?
“We have good chemistry, let’s put it that way,” Selanne said, smiling. “But I try to avoid that question, because the only main focus is on here.”
While I would love to see Selanne win another Cup, I cringe at the possibility of him wearing the red of Detroit. I absolutely dislike Detroit, but with Selanne there I'd have to cheer for them. Hopefully he'll win a Cup with Winnipeg or Vancouver and not Detroit! |

Please tell me how this wasn't a hit to the head? How was Moore wasn't supsended when it was not only a hit to the head, but the player didn't even have the puck?
When I seen this hilight on TSN I thought for sure minimum 3 games, minimum. Not even 1 game? :|
NHL fines, but doesnt suspend Dominic Moore
quote: The New York Rangers are furious with Dominic Moore for his hit on Ruslan Fedotenko, but the NHLs only medium-strength mad about it. The league decided to fine the agitating Tampa Bay Lightning center $2,500 instead of giving him a suspension.
