Re: [Hockey] Official~ NHL thread...........scores and highlites

I would imagine Erskine will get a call from the league today. This was
a deliberate elbow to the head. He has to get at least 2-3 games minimum.

yea, bad call...nothing wrong with that hit at all...just a solid hit to the chest, which winded Huskins.

And as usual the ref with the worse view calls it.

It may have been the wrong call on Backes, but I'd rather a ref make an error like that than the one they made on the Erskine elbow to Simmons. It's tough, but missing a call is worse than mistakenly making a call that isn't really there and we see far more of the former than the latter.

The Backes penalty is reversed by the league.

Probably would of gone to OT. Toss up who would of won. Probably costs the blues a point, not convince it would of cost them two.

Still a pretty bad call. Maybe if one of the refs has a better view, they should discuss it?

Oh brother... hyperbole much? He missed half a game. Big deal. It's not like he was sent away to prison.

Awesome come from behind for the Hawks. They looked exhausted from playing VanCity the night before.

Since when is an on ice infraction prison worthy. I thought we were talking NHL penalties and not the Wayne Mackie - Ted Green or Rick Jodzio - Marc Tardiff or Todd Bertuzzi - Steve Moore type incidents..

Sorry in advance Shaner if I'm misintertrepting your post....

Exactly. I'm not even going to bother responding to the deliberate gross misinterpretation as it's nothing more than a troll based on other, non-related threads.

I already replied to Shaner. We are talking HOCKEY penalties and not prison related incidents... Now who is trying to troll?

Why must you take everything so personal?

What happens to the Coyotes now?

»aol.sportingnews.com/nhl/story/2···y-arena1

If Buttman gives this franchise to another yankee city ,he's nuts!

It has to go to Quebec.

I'd still love to see a team here in Hamilton. Not going to happen, though.
