splicingdan join:2005-10-13 Staten Island, NY	Nothing fiber related seems to be cheap in costs... I've used a variety of fusion splicers and have found the Sumitomo 25E series to be the best by far. Simple to operate and clean, sturdy, reliable, and insanely good battery life (I have yet to recharge it this year - for real).
