Best budget fusion splicer

Hello,

What's a good budget fusion splicer that is both cheap, easy and cheap to service, and will last?

Nothing fiber related seems to be cheap in costs...

I've used a variety of fusion splicers and have found the Sumitomo 25E series to be the best by far. Simple to operate and clean, sturdy, reliable, and insanely good battery life (I have yet to recharge it this year - for real).
The only trouble I've ever had with it was due to cold weather (under 20F). The LED takes some time to regain function.

Re: Best budget fusion splicer

I would consider a PRO Fusion Splicer series or can't go wrong with a AFL Fusion Splicer . I've used both and have been happy.
