Actually, my older kids were into DK for a while, some time ago. They've since moved on. But my next 2 are just hitting that age, and are likely to get into the channel pretty soon. Although, given how often I see them watching the SD versions of Disney and Nick, forcing me to pick up the remote to put on the HD versions of the channels (call it 'tough love'), they may not really notice. But I will... and if I have to sit through those shows, I may as well enjoy them in HD. |

Yeah...having 3 toddlers of my own it stinks for them to have to watch the Nick channels in SD.....so HD kids channels are always welcome

Doesn't VZ still have to choose when to sign the contracts that these contractual additions refer to? If most of the HD channels have a SD simulcast, then back in 2005 when VZ signed most of the carriage agreements I don't think they included language that amounted to forcing VZ to add the HD feed.
I'm certainly no lawyer, but if VZ does have contractual obligation additions, I ultimately think VZ negotiated enough wiggle room so that they can add HD feeds at their discretion.
Because what we know about VZ is that they almost always want to be in control. |

Wow, you are right. I'm home sick today...
The channel wasn't there at 8am - neither in the guide or by manual...
Guess the mapping update was a bit late.
But, it is now here and in the guide in Delaware.
