| The FCC had it's chance to fix this With the TV transition to digital the FCC had the chance to open up the competition by using the old TV space for wireless high speed internet every where, just like cell phones are now.
In stead of regulating that new free space they auctioned it off to the highest bidder, the money hungry S*(+ fools. They left what and how it will be used up the the new owners. SO much for the power and forward thinking of the FCC. The people in the organization use to be the top radio & electronics guys and gals around. Now it seems most of the top people don't even know what a ham radio is let alone how to best run the FCC or what it real job should be.
With so much new technology out and coming out every year, and a bunch of fools at the wheel of the FCC ship I think many missed chances to get thing right are in the future. |
