Re: Well by the time it hits DVDs.... Doesn't bother me one bit either. I can wait a whole month longer just to get it sent to me and not burn gas to run to the video store to find the video store only got 5 copies and they all got rented out as soon as they opened that day. If I have to wait then I have to wait. |

In the meantime, we can use that 28 days to watch last month's new releases that are at Netflix today. And there is NOTHING put out by Hollywood these days that is so good that I can't wait a few weeks. The studios think waaay too highly of themselves.

I used to goto Blockbuster all the time, and got sick of the game. Then I subscribed to Netflix about 5 years ago and haven't been back to Blockbuster since. If it's on DVD, Netflix almost always has it. All Blockbuster had was the newest releases, surrounded by walls of the same old tired, stale, college frat videos and chick flicks. They never rotated inventory.
The local store had the same titles for so many years, the boxes on the shelves near the windows on the west side of the building were extremely faded from the afternoon sun. |

If I have to wait then I have to wait. Agreed. In fact, I can think of a number of times when I've walked past a display of new releases in a store, stopped when some movie caught my eye that I've been meaning to see, and added it to my Netflix queue then and there. |

 | reply to XknightHawkX Seriously what video stores are there to drive to other than a Red Box machine. |

 | reply to beavercable We still have a Family Video in our area. They actually opened in the area about 2 or 3 years ago and the two more expensive movie stores in the area closed. I want something sooner I'll go to Family Video otherwise I'll wait for Netflix to send it to me. |
