| 50 gigs? I have the 15/2 service, and I thought the cap was 80 gigs at that level. 50 gigs is the limit for the 10/2 level. But who knows, they might have lowered it, while still raising prices.
80 gigs is ridiculous, 50 is beyond ridiculous for the kind of money they charge. I can do that easily just by listening to internet radio. At least companies like Comcast set a reasonable limit- 250 gigs. That I could live with. The service isn't bad, and pretty fast *if* you download before 4 pm. After 4 pm my speed drops by 75% or more.
It's nice that you'll eventually have FIOS available. We'll never see it here in Monroe county. I would drop Prolog and BRC in a heartbeat if I could get FIOS.
Unfortunately, they have little to no competition in this area, so they can do what they like. It's either suck it up and pay or go with Verizon's uselessly sloooooooooooow and outdated DSL.... |
