LosT fox on cablevision. What to do on eastern long island?

I'm on eastern long island (east of rivehead) and am wondering what to do since cablevision and fox did not reach a deal. I'm about 80 miles from NYC so I think an antenna wouldn't get fox5 but how about channels in CT? Will I be able to pick up a signal with an antenna? Any recommendations on the best type of antenna to get?
