Fast ping, but slow download speeds. Weird browsing problems

I've run ping test, tracert test, checked for packet loss and run speed test at speedtest.net several times.

I've almost always got a low ping whenever i ran a tracert or ping test, however my download speeds have dropped tremendously and I'm not sure why. I should be at around 16mbps, however since i'm on wireless I only get 8-9, 10 if i'm lucky.

However, I've been getting less than 1mbps and my browsing in firefox is PAINFULLY, slow. Sometimes the pages don't load completely and its just annoying and I'm not sure what the problem could be.

I was thinking it could've been the router (running dd-wrt and did a few optimizations yesterday), but my laptop also on wireless is doing fine and download tests on speedtest.net are up to 8mbps.

Wireless signal is 4-5 bars.

Here are my line quality test results: »/linequality/nil/2683599

What could be the problem?

Thanks

Try it using a wired connection.

Could be you are getting interference on the wireless.

I didn't have this problem a few days ago, I don't see how I would suddenly have wireless interference. My router is also below me, so a wired connection isn't ideal for my situation and I prefer wireless.

Any other ideas?
