 | Why is anyone still using AOL? I do not mean to sound or seen as a troll but i really would like to know why people would still use AOL?
Is it because they are the only option available to you? Just wondering. |

 | I've kept it because I just don't feel like changing and then having to e-mail everyone with my new e-mail account. -- OOL Subscriber Since - 10/18/00 . . . iO Subscriber Since - 11/22/04 |

 | reply to silentlooker I love AOL, they have a great email system, with lots and lots of room. They offer all sorts of great sites, and personally I think their home page is 100 times better that anything else, including Comcast, MSN, Excite or Chrome. My only problem with them is their help forums, you only go there as a last resort. I have been with AOL since 1995, and will stay with them until the end of time or the end of AOL |

Personally, I can't believe people would pay $19.95/mo for dialup.
EDIT: Their basic dialup package is now $9.95/mo for unlimited? When did this happen? |

| reply to silentlooker My Grandpa who will be turning 93 this coming January, will never leave AOL. He's got Charter Internet (High Speed Cable), but still pays the small fee to keep his live support.
I use AOL (free edition) because it's normally the only e-mail address he'll write to. |

 | reply to silentlooker Been using it since 1984 and will continue to use it as long as it is there. I have Comcast HSI and don't need/use dialup but too much hassle to change email even tho I have 3 other addresses. -- "Ol Sgt. Frank (ret)....... |
