 | IPv6 via 6in4 Hi,
I've had comcast for about a month and a half now and have tried setting up a 6in4 connection so I can keep the same ipv6 address when my address changes, however I've had limited success. I'm not sure if the problem lies in DD-WRT not handling radvd properly or if it has something to do with comcast filtering non-standard TCP packets.
I know that the official support is for 6to4, but since I have a dynamic address I'd like to avoid that if possible.
Any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated |

works fine via Hurricane electric which i think is 6in4.
Good Luck!

 | Getting rid of the /64 on he-ipv6 seemed to do the trick. I guess that's what was screwing it up.
Thanks for the help |

My personal way of learning is to understand by doing. I understand ALOT more linux via DDWRT, and understand volumes about IPV6 addressing, etc.
Next on my list is 6to4 BTW.
And THANKS Comcast for helping ultimately moving us all toward IPV6!

NetDog join:2002-03-04 Parker, CO | no need for a static address, 6RD works without a static address. |
