It's a hotly-contested topic, and all sorts of figures are thrown around, but your brain can tell the difference between framerates much higher than that. Your figure of 22FPS is somewhere around the framerate where your brain will perceive the frames as a solid moving image. That doesn't make it the upper perceivable limit. |
