They screwed up for a day or two in MN too. Something about upgrading equipment and causing internet/VoIP loss for a lot of people.
I know they can make some pretty bad screw ups, but that's not to say AT&T's done something bad once in a while. The last few AT&T technicians that came to my house either..
1.) Forgot to reconnect my DSL line back to the NID
2.) Charged me for a housecall, even though the technical work was done outside. He assured me I wouldn't be charged... what a liar.
3.) Insulted my intelligence because I apparently *didn't* know how to wire Cat3. I did it right.. he just didn't like the way it looked.
Both of them can certainly be crooks, but that's corporate America for ya. I've had nothing but positive experiences with C1's techs so far.
