San Antonio, TX
Lots of people test?
I'm interested if anyone else has this experience: go to any Div-I college football game or anywhere with a comparable amount of people and try to make/receive a phone call or texts with your iPhone. Epic fail 100% of the time.
I carry both an iPhone and a VZW Blackberry for work--my informal, non-statistically-valid long-term experience indicates that the VZW phone is categorically more reliable than the iPhone in places where there are large amounts of people at any given time.
This is going to vary in every major venue. AT&T has contracts for cell exclusivity in some stadiums and Verizon has it for others. It just depends where you go. In Texas AT&T rules the roost, but in the northeast I'm sure Verizon is king of the stadiums.
Didn't have any problems texting or calling my iPhone buddy who was at the UT/Baylor game today.
