SL Digitalink Digital Adapter

I have 5 TVs and have installed the Suddenlink Digitalink adapter on all of them. The first two worked fine. The third only gets the basic 12 channels and the fourth and fifth only get the 12 basic plus 9 others out of the 70 or so I got before installation. I have unplugged to reboot numerous times, like it says in troubleshooting. The only difference between two that worked and the 3 that didn't get all channels is that the first two are connected to TV through a VCR/DVD. Also, on the 3 that don't receive all channels, a message pops up every 10 minutes or so that states Suddenlink is updating software for the adapter. This doesn't happen on other 2 TVs. I can't find anything about it in manual or on Suddenlink or anywhere else I have searched. Can anyone help? Thanks!

You may have signal issues at your house, and will need a tech to come out to trouble shoot the problem for you.

With 5 TVs its likely you need an amplifier in the attic

fyi an amplifier may not be the solution to the issue. It could be any particular set of things that could cause these issues. Could be bad connectors on the lines to these rooms. they could be on a second splitter and the signal could be to low. Could be a signal level issue from the main line itself. could have issues with the drop. the bottom line here is that without checking out the situation and reading signals with a meter or more information no real solution can be found :d

3/4 of the problems you mentioned could be solved with an amplifier
