Further down the Susquehanna, there was another tall smokestack with a lot of vapor/steam/etc. What is that? A paper mill?

I've been around paper mills at a previous job, and I'd certainly prefer to live next to a nuclear power plant than a paper mill.

There are some rides that are so dead, you can just stay on them as long as you want.

We did drive through Gettysburg around New Years. I then downloaded Ken Burns' series on the Civil War and watched the parts about Gettysburg. It was interesting after seeing the actual sites.

Archivis posted : About the best you can do is drive by it. The only thing special about this nuclear reactor is its history. If you want anything interesting in the area, there's a pretty good amusement park in Hershey and a casino down the road in Grantville. Both are about 15-20 minutes away from Harrisburg.
