Re: Are old plans grandfathered in ?

I have the same status under my account as well; although, I am currently on the 3 out per month.

I will say that it would have been nice to of known about the upcoming changes in pricing, like they did for Blu-ray access (which I no longer subscribe to), but I know that they reserve the right to change pricing at any time, and I'm really happy they're allowing those of us who already have a plan to keep the same price/plan combination.

For me, I know I can't remember the last time a company who raised its rates, let members stay 'grandfathered' in without being under a contract.

I just got off the phone with Netflix.

I was told by the CSR that all new members signing up as of today are offered only the new pricing . . . existing members will see the new pricing automatically raised as of January 1st, 2011.
