| [Connectivity] Major network outage? I think Comcast has a major network outage right now, at least in my area. My friend just called me from across town asking if I was online. Went to check and I couldn't pull up a webpage.
Tried to call comcast and was told after getting a busy signal the first time that they were experiencing a heavy call volume and try back later then it hung up.
Anyone else having issues?

I'm in shelton ct and it went out about a half hour ago. It was acting slow and sketchy the past few days too. |

my connection was a little slow over the last few days and pings were higher than normal.
I hope they get it fixed by tomorrow because I work from home through VPN |

Clinton, MA is out as well. Same issue for me. When I call I get busy or a message that says it can't connect me at this time.

I live in Milford, MA - and can confirm the DNS outage as well. I just switched my dns back to opendns - and the connection is flying at full speed. So it goes .... |

Looks like the DNS servers are having issues. The primary DNS server 68.87.73.246 is non responsive, the secondary server 68.87.73.230 is hit and miss with a 50% loss. I have switched to 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76 and I am able to get out. The outage looks to have taken out some of comcasts servers since I am having issues with sites that are comcast support sites and sites hosted by comcast. |
