So put me on a highway, and show me a sign.
And take it to the limit one more time...

New Jersey ridiculous laws once again lock up civil people, and the criminals run rampart.

That is typical for NJ. You need a purchaser's permit and and a carry permit to transport guns when you're moving? Ridiculous.

Only in NJ!

I just don't get it. You don't need a carry permit to transport the guns when moving. Obviously testimony was given to support that he was moving. Whether he moved a few months earlier and came back to get his guns and bring them to his new residence is irrelevent. Also, hollow point ammunition is NOT illegal in NJ. You can go in to Dick's Sporting Goods and buy hollow points. You are allowed to take them home from the store and then bring them to a range with you and fire them, or bring them with you if you are moving. The only illegal thing here is the high-capacity magazine. And it is legal in Colorado. The guns and ammo were secured as required by NJ law for transport. There HAS to be more to this story than what we know here.
