Not seeing it. They did add the 18 month renewal back to CP for $189.

I'm not seeing anything other than under packages that my annual plan will renew at $198 in March.

On which page did either of you see either of these offers?

Op didn't say when his renewal is up but mine is in January. Wonder if they are doing different promos depending on when your renewal is.

Could be. I guess I might not be close enough to the end.

And to think I was looking on Amazon for ATA prices to change to Callcentric until I saw this. The 2 year deal would actually beat what I will be paying for Callcentric.

I saw it as soon as I logged into the CP. I was logging in just to look up a number and wasn't sure about exactly when my plan expired so was cautious about renewing right now.

Ends up my plan was set to "renew" Dec 21 so I am close to my renewal (I see dmolavi renews Jan 12 and got the deal).

I was using Chrome when logging in.

Hope others might get this.

Crap I am Jan 24th and I only get the 6 months extra.

I am March 22nd and get no options at all!

My expiry was January 16, and I got the offer (and took it.)

On my Invoice, it says $189 billed, but on my Packages, it shows the Package Price as $198.96.

Does anyone know why the $9 difference?

Think that is the normal price. If it shows you as being billed the $189 I wouldn't worry about it.

Did they bill you right away for the $189? If I remember last time correctly they billed the base rate and waited a month to bill the taxes.

So now there is a difference for offers to existing customers. I see why new customers may get a better promotion but making a difference to existing customers may backfire.
I see the point of none of that Sunrocket stuff were some renewed a lifetime in advance. But this may backfire making a difference that is to me very minor.
So will they get the deal later when closer to the time theirs expires or? Like said I do not think say if you have less than 6 months or even some longer is not bad to renew for an existing customer.
Now those waiting till January or February are left to wonder will they get this deal or will it be over.
Sort of why did not stay with Viatalk. I pay a bit more now some months for my current main provider but I do not feel I have to play get the deal. Then feel happy I got the deal or cheated as others got it and I got screwed. I do not like games with what to me is a basic needed service not a luxury.
So no lets make a deal with my phone service. Just a stable product with foreseeable costs for the future.
I guess i would feel like a commodity. If you are near maybe leaving us we need to keep you so here is a present. But you cann't leave for a few months so we do not need you as much as still locked in. When it is your turn to leave if we have enough customers you will not get the present. If we are still desperate you may. Games.
I like a solid product with fewer games at a decent cost.

At least they offer deals for current clients. That's better than most do. Guess the attitude with them is. We gotcha if want to leave you can go to the trouble of finding a new provider possible paying for port, setup fees etc, hope it works and then and only then we will offer you a deal to come back.

Thinking this promo is indeed based on your renewal date. Got an email stating the 12 + 12 for $189 and noticed CP updated to that promo as well. Once accepted the renewal option disappeared from CP. Guess they don't want people paying 10 years ahead.

But then again guess nobody needs phone service in 2013.

just reupped. total of 24 months 2 lines and all that jazz. looked at going ooma and with the cost of the phone system then the monthly fee's for what i get with via talk and this is cheaper.
