I am so disappointed Got a ton more back in South Dakota and Ohio. All those movies I watched with locations of NE and snow during the winter lied to me.... |

| We HAD snow. I had about 2 inches for the first snow fall last week (Much more to come!) however, this recent storm was more rain and warm weather, thus wiping out all the snow!
Trust me; THE SNOW WILL COME!
Edit: PS, even the snow skiing mountains lost allot of snow this weekend. |

| reply to ebgbjo Well, I seem to have a different opinion than some other Yankees here, but I don't think coming from Ohio or South Dakota you're going to be blown away by our winters. Especially in southeastern Massachusetts where you are.
Sure, we have some big storms sometimes, but you had them in SD and OH too I'm not sure about Ohio but South Dakota has more extreme heat and cold than Massachusetts, in general. So the weather will probably seem milder to you. -- Join the DSLR Kiva team! |

 | reply to ebgbjo Wait, wait, I got it.... I never snows on Cape Cod!!!
Remind me of that when I'm shoveling a foot of it never snows. |

Just make sure you've tied down anything outside that might blow away. You folks should get something out of that storm. I don't think we'll get much here.
Anything you get should stay on the ground until after New Year's, when the current eastern NA cold pattern may change. |

Anything you get should stay on the ground until after New Year's, when the current eastern NA cold pattern may change. They're saying Sunday night/Monday morning now. Thing is, storms that get hyped this far in advance tend to fizzle out by the time they get here - and everyone's suddenly stocked up on eggs, bread and milk for nothing! -- "Strive to change the world in such a way that there's no further need to be a dissident." | reply to ebgbjo I'm not seeing anything bad on the weather channel for Sunday/Monday here as of now. It's all speculation of IF the storm moves inland more it could drop 3-6" of snow. As of right now it's like a 30% chance of maybe 1" of snow. I don't plan to see any sizable snow fall until at least January in the greater Boston area myself. |

MsTerraCallipygianPremium join:2002-08-20 Nerdvana kudos:1 | reply to Harddrive Well, WBUR was saying Sunday/Monday with a chance of a few inches of snow in the Boston area (snow and rain on the coast) - no one's ready to commit to a firm guess yet. Weatherunderground says a 70% chance of precipitation with moderate snow accumulation. It's certainly been cold enough for the last week or so that any snow will stick. -- "Strive to change the world in such a way that there's no further need to be a dissident." Lawrence Ferlinghetti
