2 edits | 1.9 Sneak Peak has begun My boxes minutes ago just rebooted themselves. One of my 6416's is displaying "dl" for download on its display. I was watching TV on my 7100 when it happened and its display went blank with a message saying "Terminal Locked, enter current pin and press select." Turned the box back on so I can at least watch TV, which I can, but no menu/guide at all right now as it upgrades. As I type this it just rebooted again.
Looks like things will get interesting from here on out... |

Nothing to explore. DVR acces is gone, MENU and GUIDE are dead, record function out, the INFo button brings up a screen asking for a Parental Control PIN...and of course, no guide at all. Hope there's SOMETHING tomorrow (and hope I didn't lose the archived DVR recordings). |

Looks real good. Seems that moving between menus and making selections is a bit quicker.
First downside I noticed is that lack of color in the TV guide. It's only blue and white. It makes it a tad bit difficult to notice where things are since they all look the same. This may just be an adjustment thing though. I love looking at it in HD. |

Got it at 3 am. It seemed to take longer than other updates.
It looks real good even on a 6416. VOD and DVR menus are significantly faster.

The content of the shows is in different colors like normal. It's just the colors don't punch out as much. I just wish you could have a smaller font to see more guide data. |

Also, can you check to see if the "HD" logo is still on every program - even the SD programs- that are on HD channels?
I was hoping the HD logo would be seen on each HD program on the Guide...
