Speedtouch 516 and WRT54G problem

The first picture, thats how it is suppose to be, but it doesnt work. The computer cant connect to the interent, but if I use the second method it works.

The worse part is that I have my computer in the basement (not that far), with asus pce n13 300 mb/s. And the file transfer rate is super slow its like 600 kb/, but lan the transfer speed is around 10 mb/s

Maybe your Modem is NOT set to Bridge mode.

If you have no idea you need to call tech support. You have to set your modem to Bridge, as the poster above indicated, but there is another setting that needs adjustment. After that you need to setup your router with your login details. It just doesn't automatically work. Tech support will have you up in no time.
