[DSL] Bandwith

Just bought Xbox360 and set it up.
I received 3 month free subscription
I now seem to use my telkom adsl bandwith when downloading free trial game
Can sombody kindly advice how this FREE works

You should ask in a non-Canadian forum.

It sounds like you got an xbox free subscription that caused you to go over your telkom usage limit.
The 2 companies are unrelated, it is free to use from xbox but it is not free to use from telkom (basically, it is not free for you to use).
