SpeedStream 5100

I don't know a lot about modems and I can't seem to get Efficient's official site working nor can I find much info on the subject so my question is:

Is SpeedStream 5100 compatible with ADSL2+? (060-E141-A01 is the part number). And if it isn't, would a firmware update make it so?

It seems like there is more than one kind of this type but mine is made by Efficient Networks.

No. ADSL and maybe ADSL2, but no ADSL2+ support in the SBC ISP customized 5100.
