What are your advertised DL & UL speeds? What is the max that your provider has?

I would contact the ISP again and send them your test results. The best time to call them is when you are having the issues. They can look at your node and see what's going on .

Generally around 9-9:30 EST to around 10:30 or 11:00 EST, pm that is, is when things really start to go south hardcore. During the course of the day, it can sporadically have issues with extreme latency or cutting out but those times are generally when it gets really bad.

Case in point I ran the line test again when I got home from work today, about 5 pm EST, and it came up pretty good.

Now, I know under some circumstances thats normal, some networks arent pingable, but its curious since you were able to get a result there. I'm unsure as to what the problem could be, maybe an overloaded router or node at that point at those times of day, I'm no expert on any of this though. Is all this something I should make my ISP aware of, or can they really even do anything about it?

I've been in contact with my ISP to try and get things resolved but there hasnt really been much going on.
