Sparklight → Dial Up access to Cableone internet while traveling.

"The Answer Book" on the Cable one web site says that they provide dial up internet access to to their subscribers when they are away from home. The telephone number listed is 602 340-1800. Dialing this number gets a disconnected, check your number and try again recording. Does anyone know if dial up is still a service Cable one provides and if so how to access it?

I have doubts on it; most broadband ISPs, especially those running through cable, dumped their backup dial-up plans some years ago.

The demand becomes less and less (Mainly because of public wi-fi, etc.) and they end up wasting money keeping the number active.

Of course, calling them is the best way to find out.
