Does anyone know what appx. percentage of a rural fiber buildout goes toward fiber management gear? I'm not talking about the fiber itself, conduits or active electronics but rather the patch panels, jumpers, outside pedestals, splitters and fiber drops to the premise etc.
Gear that might be supplied by companies such as ADC or Clearfield. Thanks.
I can't give you an exact or even a rough percentage as i don't know your scenario, but I can tell you the panel / peds / jumpers and things of the likes are a small portion of the materials bill in comparison to things like splice cases and the fiber itself.
However, your biggest costs are going to go into construction and labor.
