| [Help] belkin wirelesss router - cable modem router keeps droppi I have a new Belkin Surf wireless router connected to cable modem. I lose internet connectivity every 5 -10 min. Here are some observations:
1. The cable modem connection is fine - if I connect my desktop to the modem directly, I _don't_ see any dropped connections.
2. The connection (wireless for laptop or wired for desktop) to the Belkin router works just fine.
3. For reasons I cannot understand, if I go to Belkin router admin screen and use LAN Settings > Apply Changes, I am able to get back the connection for another 5-10 min or so (note that I make no changes).
I have NOT changed the default router/modem settings at all. Can someone please advise what changes I need to make to avoid dropped connections?
There was another thread about this on the forum with 3 others facing the same problem but I did not see any answer.

Is there anyone from Belkin who can help? This is a major problem and Comcast is unwilling to help since their modem seems to work just fine.
