Medium quality video calls: 1GHz CPU, 512Mb ram Higher quality video calls: Core2Duo or faster Most of the quality depends on your connection. For HD calls I think 2Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up is the minimum. For decent cams/headsets I have two Logitech c270h I got at Walmart for about 30 bucks. Does 720p and came with a headset.
