| Speeds can i expect in Wells, ME (04090) have fairpoint now. i have fairpoint now, and they are the worst.
The service has been terrible for months now. Twice they have tried to send a tech out, and when the operator asks me what time is good, i say after 4pm because my wife and i both work. Both times the techs have called my cell phone at noon wanting to know why no one is home.
When i explain to them the problem is that services cuts out intermittently they told me the first step would be to slow the connection slow 756k for download.
Also, they made a typo spelling our last name, so whenever i call them for support i have to explain my last name is not spelled correctly, and they refuse to change it.
Anyway, enough about fairpoint.
What kind of speeds should i excpet in Wells, Maine (zipcode 04090). The fairpoint tech told me that my problem is that i am too far away from their dish, GWI doesnt share the same dish do they?
Sadly, TWC is not an option as my development does not have cable lines run underground. | |
