I've been through the exact same thing. Had a tech to my house twice verifying my lines are great and more than able to support a 5 megs. CBT's tech support has even dismissed the problem as "slow router" at my place. They usually recant when I tell 'em I'm running a Cisco 3640
It's clear CBT is oversubscribed. My service used to be great, but now I'm lucky to get a Meg during peak times. Yeah, they're ticking me off too.
