[netopia] Netopia QOS for VOIP - Selecting LAN IP only

Have this pending in AT&T West, no response yet, tyring this group.

[Modem] Netopia QOS for VOIP - Selecting LAN IP only
I have a standard issue AT&T Netopia Model 3347-02, firmware level 7.8.1r2 modem / router. Just installed a number of VOIP phones using external hosted PBX services. Have read a bunch on Differentiated Services but have a question:

Since I can assign a fixed internal LAN IP to these Linksys SPA942 phones, how can I configure the modem / router to "expedite" their traffic based on the internal LAN IP assigned to each phone only, with out any regard to port number or protocol?

If I put the "inside IP address" of the assigned IP to each phone, and leave the rest of the other stuff blank, will that work? Will this only expedite incoming traffic? How can I expedite outgoing traffic with out regard to the outside IP address? If I have to specify a protocol, do i put TCP? Or Other?

Thanks.
