In that case all you need is an Access Point that support 802.11n. You can either purchase a real AP or get a home router that supports N mode WiFi, turn off DHCP and use it as an Access Point.

| DSL Modem is original from verizon, Westell 6100 I'm thinking a better modem would help my dsl connection plus this modem is noisy, I put some chokes on the wires to quiet it down, which has helped.
So can either get another modem/router, then a wireless AP, or get a unit that all-in-one.
