Isn't VZW running LTE on 700mhz? If so that will allow the signal to get into buildings a lot better than the 2100 WiMax that Sprint/Clear is using.

That's the whole problem with Sprint/Clearwire's approach right there. Not only do they have trouble providing a decent indoor experience, they also require more cell sites to provide coverage, which increases costs. The 4G "war" may end up having a lot less to do technology chosen and a whole lot to do with spectrum positions.
