I agree 100%

Want me to let you in on part of the issue? Netflix Instant Streaming! More and more ppl sign up for it everyday and ISP providers are having problems meeting the demand on an already 'almost' overloaded system. Think about it

Can I get a Amen?

yeah, i have seen from various sources that netflix streaming is like 20-25% of bandwidth usage during primetime.

bound to just go up some more

Netflix is on the equivalent of a "bandwidth" land grab and there is no way a 30-70 dollar/month subscriber will be able to compete.

I'll be the first to admit I am/was a Netflix subscriber. I have already canceled and just waiting for my last month to run out.

I live in a small community, 1.5 down is all that is available. When my neighbor is watching their netflix it slows down my internet so bad that I can't watch anything online. Same thing on their end when I'm watching it over here. For the last couple months we would call the other when we want to watch something so we won't be interrupted by the other. Brings back memories of the old days of early telephone and party lines.

Forgot to mention in my other post. Netflix and all the other high bandwidth demands will soon lead to broadband caps and metered billing. Wait and see. The end of Unlimited Broadband is upon us.

Still bad even though Spokesperson publicly said mid Feb there would be improvements. Well its Feb 21st still nothing. Is it really that bad to fix this problem?

Update on my BBB report. CenturyLink pretty much said they have credited my account blah blah blah and they say within the next 30 days it will be fixed. Ok so now weve been told mid Feb. and today is the 24th and now told 30 days from now AND!!! tech support is still saying May 1st. /wrist. Cowards. They seem to give a different time depending how important the person is who is calling about the problem.
