Dlink dcs-920 remote viewing problems

Alright everyone, been dealing with the problem for well over 1 month. I have sent the camera back and got a new one and upgraded my wireless router to a duel band DIR-825 and still have a problem viewing my camera remotely though my WAN IP (Northstate, PLEX, Fiber) from the opened port 80. It will work for a few hours then just stop. I have some suspensions the DHCP was mucking up the static IP becuase the router initially picked up the camera via DHCP during the initial setup. Here is what I have.

UpNp: off on the camera
Static IP address set on the camera with port 80 open on the router
I've noticed that Northstate does send ip updates but my address always stays the same. Maybe when the ip updates comes through it knocks the camera off the network and it doesn't reconnect?
