And G.W. Bush and other republicans? Gave tens of billions in Tax breaks to these corporations to screw people over and over again.
Sure would be nice if Government would stop catering to big business, who see Reganism profits over the consumers well being.

How the lawsuits going against Net Neutrality. To prevent enforcement of Consumer laws that should of been made and enforced a decade ago, to get killed by billion dollar companies who have Monopolies in many markets.
The Comcast CEO(or other executives) should of been arrested for hacking users connections(to stop file transfers), but are still free to one day do it again. Hacking can be a 3 year prison sentence.

And all those towns that try to put in their own wireline/fiber Internet(since the local provider does not exist or has very low speeds), to then get sued to stop construction, by Internet companies that get funding from republican money launderers(political donation my ass).

Re: Nothing new here

There are loonies on both sides don't forget.

Think Sharon Angle / Michelle Bachmann / Glenn Beck / Rush Limbaugh

Anytime you get too extreme (left or right) your thinking becomes overly fundamental and you are no better than the fanatical Muslims who bomb airplanes. NOTE: Most Muslims are good people but you can see what happens when you go to far off either cliff.

You can blame Obama (if you must) for not being able to close trillions of dollars in defecit, worsening economy, mass corporate corruption he inherited due to the previous administration but he's only 2 years into office.

That said you can also thank Bush for the 8 year term he served up to us as well. He created how many jobs in his 8 year term? 1 million? I think even the hated Obama has created more than that in just 2 years.

You see polarizing yourself to either extreme makes you crazy and you tend to spout out dramatical ideology that nobody but your extreme fringe will agree with. Reasonable people will be a bit more moderate and will appreciate any good policy no matter which party brings it to the House for a vote.

Turn off Limbaugh, turn off Beck, turn off Hannity just for a week. Do some online research on bills and policies and come up with your own non-biased conclusions to statutes that affect us ALL. You might start to realize that those with a differing viewpoint are all socialists, commies or whatever else they call them.

All of us are American regardless of our political preferences. Yes even gay people, black people, latinos who "look illegal," but really aren't, poor people, those with accents and those who choose not to go to Church are still Americans despite the viterol those on party extremes may dish out.

What the hell does any of this do with me? Your buddy points out the right wing nut jobs suck, I point out the loony left sucks and you unload this heap of propoganda on me? I say both sides suck and you go on about me listening to Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity? You don't know a damned thing about me but thanks for proving your own point about being too extreme. Obviously because I call someone out for their partisan hackery that is on the left I must be a right wing job who listens to Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, etc. You don't know a damned thing about me but assumption certainly makes an ASS out of U.

Sucks when the pitch forks come from anyone other than the Tea Party.

You called the other poster a partisan hack. You called me an ass. I think that makes us even. Hugs?

Not sure what your getting at? The recession started at the end of GW's term and was caused by the subprime mortgage investment market that was in existence as a result of deregulation by GW in his first years as president.

That was Clinton in the 90's, (what a great decade) budget surplus, no crappy wars and everyone worked. Bush and company robbed us all and left us with nothing. Obama has done a decent job with the hand he was dealt. Any president would have trouble right now with the way things are. Judge him at the end of his 4 years and see how things changed, my bet is people will realize he not that bad and has shown he is trying. Why is it the Republicans won't vote on anything that doesn't go their way or Obama likes? I swear if the Democrats came up with a free no cost way to fix everything they would be against it. Democrats aren't the best either but I believe they are more for the working man instead of the corporations. We need to fix this country quickly, or we will continue to get smoked by other countries.

Obama wasn't the one who deregulated a load of industries and plunged the U.S. into a massive debt.

Re: Nothing new here

To be fair Obama has done a lot more than people give him credit for. Many don't know because one establishment party uses pundit media speakers and the internet to demonize everything.

When was the last time that Republicans challenged the status quo to give all Americans affordable health care? They never have because they are in the pay of the Insurance Industry.

When was the last time Republicans fought the crooks on Wall Street? They haven't because again many of their rich constituents are huge donors to the GOP.

The GOP won't give the guy credit for anything but instead will try to focus Americans attention on "Obamacare." What's sad is that many US citizens believe all that pundit talk cause they're too lazy to do any real research of their own.

Here is a small list:

Wall Street reform
Race to the Top education reform
Credit card reform
Stimulus aka recovery and reinvestment act (totally separate from the bank bailouts)
Saving GM
Lilly Ledbetter equal pay for equal work act
Appointed 2 women -- Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagen -- to the Supreme Court
Hate crimes prevention act
Student loan reform (piggybacked on healthcare)
Healthcare reform
Cancelled the F-22
Funded energy and science research
Nuclear arms treaty with Russia
New rules on PTSD
Increasing veterans funding
