4 edits | John Tory CFRB on UBB I'm listening to the Jim Richards show now, John Tory just came on to preview his show, and he said he'll cover UBB at some point during tonights show
Keep in mind prior to him jumping into Politics, he was President of Rogers Cable.... so i'm not sure what to expect.
His show runs from 4-7, and can be streamed at »www.cfrb.com
but remember his show is a call in show, so don't be afraid to give them a call and speak your mind, CFRB's number is 416-872-1010 or 1-800-561-CFRB. I'll try but I might be on the bus on my way home from work.

kudos:5 | Re: John Tory CFRB I saw him on Rogers community TV a couple of times when he was at Rogers, they had a weekly show with call ins and product demos. He didn't seem like a Corporate drone to me but who knows what he'll say. |

Yes, also former Commissioner of the CFL, GO CFL!!!..
I think he was the most decent of the Rogers' Presidents because he seemed to be more accountable and more to the people.
Its too bad he didn't decide to run for Mayor of Toronto again after narrowly losing in 2003...but I'm sure his family is happy to be out of the spotlight. |

For those unawares, John Tory was also the PC campaign director for the 1993 federal election, who along with Allan Gregg (who has a show on TVO) launched the infamous 1993 Chretien attack ad (that focused on his facial deformity) that pretty much finished Kim Campbell (who had been polling much higher than Chretien in the leadership polls). |

Yeah believe it or not he jumped from Robbers to run in the 2007 election only to lose to McGuinty. What does that tell ya? He jumped from Rogers to run against David Miller in the 2003 municipal election, lost and ran for pc leader after that.
